Check out what past students and clients have to say!
“Coach Seth has been part of our lives for almost 10 years and I can truly say that it has been one of the most meaningful and transformative experiences of our lives especially for my daughter.
He is so much more than an incredible coach - He is a mentor, a motivator and a true friend. Through his constant guidance, encouragement, and constant support for her, and all his students, he has shaped my daughter from a small, timid, scared little girl into a strong, confident, resilient badass who continuously pushed herself to be better, stronger, and braver.
Not only has Coach Seth been there for her MMA journey, but he has been a constant in many other aspects of her life. Always offering support, perspective, and motivation, instilling in her that growth happens when you are willing to put in the hard work, even if it is uncomfortable.
We are endlessly grateful and proud to call him a lifelong coach and most importantly, a true friend.”

“My daughter, son, and I have know Coach Seth for 7 years, and they have literally grown up with him. For our family, we each started MMA for different reasons. My daughter needed to gain more self-confidence, my son needed to gain more self-control, and I wanted to challenge myself (later in life haha) with something new.
It’s hard to put into words everything we have each gained from working with Coach Seth - ALL of us have benefitted from the self-confidence, self-control, and challenges, but also the mentorship - his intuitive understanding of exactly what each of us needed at any given time. When to push, how much to push, and how to harness our individual strengths and improve our individual weaknesses. I can honestly say, for all of us, that regardless of our mood when we entered class (grumpy, tired, stressed…), we left feeling better, happier, and stronger.
He is a true motivator, who genuinely cares about all of his students. Not only that, but I also deeply respect that he ‘practices what he preaches,’ always pushing himself to learn more, further improve his skills, and control his mindset. We could not have asked for a better role model than Coach Seth. He is a phenomenal coach, and an amazingly kind, driven, and accomplished person, and my whole family is the better for knowing him.”

“Seth was my son’s martial arts coach from the ages of 6-15. My son, Nate, was not the average martial arts students…
Nate has sensory processing disorder and executive functioning issues. He had a lot of behavioral issues, and Seth was there for him through it all. He was always firm but understanding. He always expected my son to put his best foot forward and alwasy encouraged him to overcome his limitations.
When Nate started training under Seth, he was also having behavior issues in school, and he had an IEP in place to help him in the school environment. I’m happy to say that by age 12, Nate no longer needed an IEP and is now a straight A student in high school. I credit much of that transformation to Seth’s kindness and patience during my son'‘s youth.
The lessons taught in the martial arts setting transferred to all other aspects of his life, and I am forever grateful for the time he got to spend under the coaching of Seth.”

“My two boys have had the pleasure of working with Coach Seth for well over 5 years now and they’ve been so lucky to have had him be a part of their lives growing up.
When we first started they each had very different needs - my oldest needed core strength and coordination (he couldn’t even do jumping jacks!) and my younger son needed help controlling his emotions. Seth always had time for each of them and would go out of his way to help them with exactly what they needed on their level.
They both grew stronger in skill for sure but they also grew more confident, more empowered, more resilient, and happy. Seth taught them how to defend themselves but he also taught them to be good people, to work hard, and was there to listen and support them when they struggled.
I always appreciated knowing he had their backs and was a valuable resource to help me support my boys however they needed it not just in self defense. The gained not just a coach with Seth but a mentor, a friend, and a teacher. Seth took the time to get to know them and their interests as well as my challenges and hopes for them too.
They are so lucky to get to grow ip learning from Coach Seth. We appreciate him and everything he does. You’ll never regret having him work and support your children too. Best decision I could have made.”

“My son worked with Coach Seth before he relocated for 5 years, from ages 9 to 14. Coach Seth was one of the main reasons my son maintained his commitment to practicing and belt advancing.
Seth has a unique way of encouraging each student to perform to the best of their abilities, while he pushes and challenges them to hold themselves accountable. It is clearly evident through Coach Seth’s sincerity and passion for his students that he wants them to succeed and grow in their training.
As a mother I am extremely grateful to Coach Seth for his example and impact on my son’s life.”
